SEFCU
Arena is a 4,538-seat air-conditioned multi-purpose arena in Albany, New York. It is
home to the University at Albany ("UAlbany") Men's and Women's Great
Danes basketball teams, as well the New York Buzz, a member of World
TeamTennis. The arena opened in 1992 as the Recreation and Convocation
Center, popularly known as "The RACC", in anticipation of UAlbany's
move from Division III to Division I. The current name of SEFCU Arena
was adopted on November 1, 2006 when UAlbany entered a 10-year naming
rights deal with SEFCU, a federal credit union.

From the West: I-90 (Thruway) to Exit 24; I-90 East to Exit 2; cross Washington Avenue onto campus, bear right and follow University Drive to SEFCU Arena.
From the North: I-87 (Northway) to Exit 1; I-90 East to Exit 2; cross Washington Avenue onto campus, bear right and follow University Drive to SEFCU Arena.
From the East: I-90 West to Exit 2; left onto Fuller Road; left onto Washington Avenue; first right onto campus, bear right and follow University Drive to SEFCU Arena.
From Albany International Airport: Exit the airport onto Albany-Shaker RD; Follow signs to I-87; Turn right onto I-87 South; I-87 to Exit 1; I-90 East to Exit 2; cross Washington Avenue onto campus,bear right and follow University Drive to SEFCU Arena.
